The Current Situation in Japan

TOYOKEIZAI ONLINE’s situation report simply and effectively visualises confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Japan based on releases from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

This website by Taisuke Fukuno shows the number of hospital beds to patients by prefecture in Japan. Although alarming, it should motivate us all to take action in order to avoid the collapse of our healthcare systems.

This site was set up by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government with the cooperation of Code For Japan to show the changes in the number of infected people. It's open source and the same mechanism is spreading across municipalities.
