When a patient has suspected coronavirus, and healthcare workers need to make an assessment, overcoming the language barrier can be particularly stressful. To aid communication between healthcare workers and patients, we created a bilingual, illustrated symptom checklist.
Please download and use this document freely. Medical centres may find it useful to hand to patients who do not speak Japanese. Non-Japanese speakers may find it a helpful resource for explaining their condition or learning the Japanese words.
